Aww :(  I'm too short... and male :(

"FM nobodyreally you gotta be kidding right?"

Yeah he's kidding.  It's amazing how incredibly overly picky some guys could be though.  Women by virtue of being female have a higher social value than men since dating for men has much higher barriers to entry.  You could have parents with a six figure income, ivy league degrees, be in reasonable shape with a reasonable fashion sense, have all your teeth and they'd all be white and have a good job yourself and you can still have trouble with women unfortunately.  I don't mean men should settle for a blob or someone they really wouldn't like but women say we're shallow yet we don't typically judge on height, education, and income whereas women put high premiums on those things.  Education doesn't make you smart and "smart" in a dating context unfortunately means marketable skills to make money (as opposed to religious and chess knoweldge and understanding or scientific knowledge for one outside those professions).  No, women (and society in general) views college as a status symbol, it's an initiation into the middle class, or if you're born middle class then you simply don't lose ground.

Class at least in America is a combination of where we work and our educational attainment and what are parents did on those fronts.  It isn't simply how rich one is, otherwise you'd have to say that some actors, lottery winners, and musicians are "classy" people despite acting and comporting themselves like blue collar people.  Larry the Cable Guy is rich, yet he's hardly the face of class.  In fact his stage name and name of his comedy group (Blue Collar Comedy) flaunt their working class nature.

Obviously!

Scorpion's teaching per his example is fine and would be a boon to any player in the rating range he is asking for.

It is wrong to put him down when he is offering to help players.

I thought we were referring to students, not eyes. I need a pupil too to see that white text on lemon chiffon background.

There's always one without a white background, grrr.

Even though I did give it away on purpose with that extra bullet point.

I am not kidding and the requirements are strict and non-negotiable.

No white text here

I have the feeling the master is alone at home. I'm lucky enough nobody else reads English around here, but still sometimes I get "suggestions" of making a translation.

So (half of this group/all of this group/ some % of this group) of 17 is going to be above 1700 in a month? Two months? How long did you say? What exactly did you promise?

ToddA10

Ya that's a 200 point jump. I doubt that can be achieved in a couple months.

Till_98

It can. I got from 1397 to 2200 in 3 years. I climbed 200 rating points just from one tournament. Its very well possible, thinking it isnt makes it though.

brainiac12358

Yes please sir! Or is it ma'am?
