i too get SO angry when i think of the idea that a move i make on my computer in New Jersey and has to travel across wires to california, and then across the ocean to another person's computer in who-knows-where, and then back to california, and then across more wires back to my house... i get SOOO mad when that doesn't happen INSTANTLY. who on earth does Chess.com think they are that they make me wait up to a few hundred milliseconds to wait for a chess move???

Are you sure you know the "en-passant" rule ?

Chess.com has a list of web browsers that they recommend. Are you using one of these browsers? The primary reason I don't play live games online (I play OTB at clubs, coffee houses, etc) is because I keep seeing this issue coming up. I know that other chess sites don't have as many disconnects, but chess.com makes up for it with everything else they offer.

A millisecond here, a millisecond there, and all of a sudden I've wasted 5 seconds.  I'm a busy man!!!

I'm staying up late in a friday night once again, and I'll have trouble waking up early and start work tomorrow. Thank you chess.com. Thank you so much....

Here's a thought! Let's declare tomorrow "Blame Everything on Chess.com Day." When I get pulled over for speeding tomorrow morning on the way to get donuts, I'll turn to the policeman and say "Yes I was driving 90 mph in a school zone but it was chess.com's fault." To the IRS, I say "Hey man, I don't have $456,678.37 to pay off my back taxes. Talk to chess.com because it's their fault. Lastly, "I'm sorry I forgot your birthday my lovely wife, it's chess.com's fault." Yeah, this will work great, just blame my favorite chess website for everything. Maybe President Obama will make it official with a press conference at the White House. He could declare "Blame Everything on Chess.com Day" a Federal holiday!
