Having contempt for the opponent / feeling you deserve to win when the position is objectively equal is a good way to lose... wisdom not just for the opening, but all game long

I'd like to apologize to @Child_Hikaru , @Kadenstarr , @B1ZMARK , @Game_of_Pawns and all the other people who I've offended by saying the Caro is garbage. I've played some games with @Kadenstarr with him playing the Caro and lost all three comfortably (even though I always ended up better out of the opening I just blundered three games away in the middlegame, so imo Caro is still trash but I don't have the ability as a chess player to speak on it.)
I'm probably gonna take some days off chess cause I've just blundered mate in one to 900s earlier today and I'm sad : (
