The goal of almost every business is to make profit, so if chess.com is making money they're doing good job, at least in their perspective. Others will think it's unfair but in the end we will all have to make money at some point.

I do not think it is fair that in order to watch a video you need a premium. These help kids learn and it is like forcing and is probably how chess.com makes its money. For a kid to learn, you should not have them pay. That is why I like [another site -- VP] more these days. To chat makes sense, but to watch and make your chess better, I do not think it is nice. Of course, if this is ok for you, no problem. But I felt that many kids/adults feel like me so I made this.
