I finished all my chess games . . . before going to V3 . . .

I got a message from Chess.com that September 30th was the last day that chess # 2 would be in use. I would have to use V3 . . .

To me that meant we all would be forced to use # 3 . . .There will be no if about it . . .

The message was to DENVERHIGH from the staff . . .

So I embarked on a quest that by the end of the month I would finish all my group chess games even the second ones that were pending in my group matches . . .

At the same time, in fun I started Johnny Cash song

"25 minutes to go"

as count down to the end of V2 . . .

Well I never cared what other member were saying or reading about the change.

I was only counting down to what I personally was told . . .

I thought it was humorous and like the message said would come true . . .

Today Sept 30th, I finished my last game by offering a draw for the third time and it was accepted so my quest was successful,

I got one point for the draw . . .

I think I would have won on the end game but then I would be playing in th V3 Version . . . By hurrying to end my games I lost two games because of blunders, but it didn't matter I had to finish the games . . .

I thanked all my opponents no matter if I won or lost . . .

I ended with a 1588 rating it should have been over 1600 though . . .

This was a fun ride, and effort to end my quest . . .

Too bad Staff locked my post . . .
