I have a rule
It's hard to place an objective value on that. Ultimately, if that's what you need to do to calm your mind, recenter your focus, or anything like that, then yes, it's good, because that's what matters most for your learning, enjoyment, or whatever reason you play chess.
Statistically, though, when playing evenly-matched games you're going to lose two 25% of the time after 2 games and 50% of the time after 3, so there are going to be a lot of interruptions in your play, depending on the length of your games.

I dont mean to argue but where is that statistic from? If its from gm play i wouldn't expect it to be valid here. Js
I wasn't precise with my wording; I was talking probability. I admit I fudged and simplified things a bit. I didn't consider draws, and gave each game an even chance of a win or loss. All I considered was the 8 outcomes of 3 games, giving each outcome an even chance.
OOO (Still playing)
OOX (still playing)
OXO (still playing)
OXX (quit after 3)
XOO (still playing)
XOX (quit after 3)
XXO (quit after 2)
XXX (quit after 2)
In which way did I screw up?
You win lose or draw. 1/3 so 33 percent chance to win. You know im an idiot as per concensus but probably know more about math, statistics and logic than 90% of the ppl here but that doesn't mean anything because im stupid because someone said so.
True, but in online play at the OP's level, draws are much less common than wins or losses, so as I said above, I didn't consider them. You're right that there are technically 3^3 = 27 outcomes for a series of 3 games, but even if you weighed in a small draw probability (my own is... maybe 2-3%), it doesn't shift the numbers downward too much, and it still represents a high chance of frequent interruptions. I weighed wins and losses evenly not because I was simply counting outcomes, but because they're equally likely with matched ELOs.
And I believe you on your math credentials. I saw you arguing in favor of proof by induction.
