Less than one year ago I was still 1200 lol, but that was because I played no rated games because of my extreme rating anxiety

Absolutely ecstatic to share that today I’ve completed my rapid goal for 2026 (a little quickly, not going to lie!) and have officially achieved a rating of 2101 in rapid chess.
While the game itself is a fairly un-interesting affair (I got a great position from the opening, blundered away my entire advantage, but my opponent didn’t find the correct continuation), this has happened far faster than I ever thought possible.
I hit 2000 for the first time in June ‘25, and to have gone to 2100 just six months later bodes well for future aspirations. Thanks to everyone who’s taken the time to help me improve, and to everyone who regularly comments on my forums - you help me stay motivated as I share my chess progress. Bring on the next games!
