Title. I've studied openings, analyzed things, screwed around in unrated, even played variants-I must say Bughouse helped even if slightly-and I just can't get better. My best live rating is Bullet, and I mainly cheese out wins on time. Any books or specific strategies for memorization yall would recommend?
If it’s any consolation, you’re pretty darn good at posting identical threads!
Whenever I start working with a new student who is stuck at a plateau, 9 times out of 10 they are playing 20 blitz games a day and doing zero deep analysis of their losses. Swap to playing just 2 rapid games a day, but spend 15 minutes analyzing each game on your own before checking the engine. Your rating will thank you.
