I blundered my bishop and I was completely loosing, but I didn't resign, and the with a genius rook sack (MOVE 33 RXE2) I got in my opponents head and he gave me a free knight and a rook.
Just so you know, there was a defense against the rook sack which makes the game +9 loosing for me, but neither of us saw it, so yeahhappy.png
Also congratulate me on 1500!

for the beginners..if he takes my rook, my knight forks his rook

Congrats brother, according to a friend of mines, most people don't even reach 1500. The highest I got here was 1200 but that was years and years ago. The irony though is that I'm a better player now then I was then.

Thanks! I believe the strength of players who choose to longer time controls (30+mins) is a lot more than those who play 10+0 games. That could be the reason for your lower rating. It's not easy to calibrate these and most people either play shorter rapid or longer, rarely both. However this is just what I think, and I do not know if this is true.

However, what I do know is that you do a lot more work on trying to improve your chess than I dohappy.png. Keep up the good work!

As you said above, there was a defense, which makes the move much less brilliant.

However, congrats on seeing the tactical idea.

Congrats! It's a real achievement to get to 1500! Next time tho, if you see that if they take there's a fork, think of checks, they could've checked and gotten out of the fork, a big oopsie, but apart from that, it's a great sac! I hope this helps you

I did tell you that, when we met you used to play games with shorter time controls, also if we ever played, I told you I'd only play if the games was going to be with longer time controls. Thanks all the same though, what do you do to improve?

I just play more..From 1300-1500, I haven't learnt anything new...I just stopped blundering too often and spotted my opponents blunders more often. Also gotta give credit to the good old London system which has carried me since I was like 600.

Not learning anything new is generally not a good thing (no offense), not if you're like me and you're hungry for improvement. Yeah I messed around with the London System myself but usually I don't play any Openings.
