What question? I'm glad you're a brexiteer. Hurrah!

my question is does anyone see a difference in society from 20th to 21st century, there seems a different attitude  kinder outlook to strangers

cap78red

i am also a non-hand out socialist in that i want people to be rewarded yes but for hard work

cap78red

like an example of different attitude is to mental illness, the very mention of the word was banned previously as being threatening to people, but i can mention it without getting band because people seem to realise now apparent strangness is a just an illusion.

Well, if it's as you say in your title, and you "live in a fantasy world" then there's nothing we can say that will convince you otherwise.

But since you yourself call it a fantasy, maybe some logical discussion will help sort things out.

But for that to work you'll have to be a little more specific. For example how is a famous politician copying you? What were the events, and times, etc.

Yeah. Kids and teenagers are more menacing. Overdose of video games. And the present laws protect them from the sticks of responsible parents and teachers.

“The children now love luxury; they have bad manners, contempt for authority; they show disrespect for elders and love chatter in place of exercise. Children are now tyrants, not the servants of their households. They no longer rise when elders enter the room. They contradict their parents, chatter before company, gobble up dainties at the table, cross their legs, and tyrannize their teachers.”

(AFAIK not an actual quote, but the point is people see history through rose colored glasses, i.e. nothing is different)

i started in politics young in 1983 aged 12, corbyn entered parliement in 1983. now corbyn has identical policies to me and has done for years and so has boris johnson on brexit i have met a prme ministers economist at a chess club and we discussed economics including a policy on a 2% inflation target which was actually adopted. you wont believe this but i came up with a load of policies including indepenent bank of england, end to political interest rate manipulation-i called it an end to boom and bust where tories used to lower interest rates to create an election boom then increase interest rates in-between elections causing a bust mid-term, mininum wage, and like i said the 2% inflation target by monetary policy as well as the refusal to give employment protection under labour due to the fact wage protection was enough and both would cause inflation. i also rallied the brexiteers against the erm in 1992 the exchange rate mechanism which was destroying our economy in the name of us joining the euro currency

cap78red

the point of a 2% inflation target is that their isnt enough money to create growth the actual money supply in the economy is hit by a 0% inflation target, youre manager f your local firm has no hard cash to invest in jobs and equipment so you end up with meagre growth

cap78red

all the policies adopted led to a doubling of the wage level under blair and created a healthy 3% growth rate most years under blair, this directly allowed for the austerity to be imposed without mass strikes because peoples wages where over inflated so this gave lee way for austerity to work.

cap78red

take a look at france were european regulations forbade a socialist government to go for growth and all they did was the worst of socialism ie increase taxes hugely, the incoming government promising reform has hit a brick wall because people just cant afford reform

you've led a interesting life have you ever considered writing a book ?

WSama

Mr cap, Mr cap -- I too, think a book would do good for you at this point in your life. It would give you the chance to clear your head, and make sense of your thoughts as you piece them together on paper. Wouldn't you agree?

evidence for my exeptional chess play is i have whopped grandmasters online many times(about 10) including keith arkell and joel benjamin. i have also had a 2350 standard rating after 40 games on icc whopping many gms and ims in the process i have drawn with a gm in a simutaneous and was 1 pawn down after 38 moves against nigel short in a simul. i was 2nd in my british county(equivlent of a usa state) not long after i started and 3rd in an under 2000. i beat a 1800 in something like my 4th game ever at a club.

@OP I believe you're a strong chess player. And as an Economics theorist too. Many of the cabinet members and advisers aren't as good as they SPEAK.
