You probably only don't know what I'm about to say because you are newer to chess.com...but what you experienced is SUPER common. I've done it, you've done it and others have done it too (reaching a new high rating and them crashing). There are many reasons this happens (variance, being so high makes it more likely you may drop due to current ability, psychology involving new milestones etc.) and that could be a big discussion topic in itself; all you need to know for now though is that this happens to most people and for dedicated chess players, this happens OFTEN. It isn't ever fun to go through...but it happens a lot.
It can be demoralizing and is can bring down even the most motivated chess players down to doubt, but if they hang in there and stay healthy mentally and emotionally, then they have a chance to push from this rating to an even higher one in a few months or years.
I've also observed that whenever this massive crash happens (assuming it wasn't mainly tilt and you seem to be otherwise playing "the same"), it usually is followed by a rating recovery and even higher boost in roughly 1-2 months from then.
In fact, I'm suffering from such a rating crash now myself. Back in October 2021, I was high 1900s rapid rating and pushing for my goal of 2000+...yet I experienced a similar crash and fell into the 1800s. This sounds like not much when written, but that was soul crushing in the moment because I had been over 1900 for about 4 months without ever dropping below it.
I wrote this blog post regarding this rating crash (perhaps you'll find it inspirational)
https://www.chess.com/blog/KeSetoKaiba/dropped-more-chess-rating
and one month later (November of 2021), I recovered the rating AND went higher, crossing the 2000+ barrier for my first time ever!

This isn't the end of the story though...it is only part of it. Check my rating now...I was in the 1800s again just a few days ago and at this exact moment I'm only low 1900s. Not only did I "lose" back my 2000+ rating, but I've lost and regained it several times since that blog post. I've probably been over 2000 rating about 3 or 4 different times now, hold it for a while and then drop. This happens a lot of the time before one pushes past that threshold for a while; it is just part of the learning process and part of the chess journey, so don't let short-term rating changes get you down too much.
Best of luck with your chess @TCongPham
