I need a uscf rating

I'm wondering how I get a provisional rating, and standard rating. Do I need to fill out a form, of do something special, or just play 26 games and uscf arbiters just enter it?

You get a rating by playing US Chess rated events

You need to join USCF, pay the membership fees and then play USCF regulated tournaments. You’ll have an established rating after 26 games.

What I meant was I was getting to wrapped up in the rules, and that I should play, I moved on,I'm trying to show im being flexable

He/She/or-whatever-they-are is just aggressive everywhere, I did nothing and they just started yapping about how I was a brat.
