Yes, maybe thats my rating but i dont understand why i didnt improve and regressed the improvement i had, and in that game I really played poorly, was already a bit tilted, thank you for your analysis and help, apreaciate it.
It’s because you were scared of losing rating and you didn’t think straight, rating fluctuations are normal and they are going to happen
Yeah, I guess you're right, I'm too concerned about rating, I've always been, but it usually wouldn't matter, but because I'm stuck it gets me really anxious, gonna work on that, thank you M1m1c15 for your time and help
i am confused. ina tourney i didn't score enuf victories to advance, but did score enuf points and in fact did advance to next round. did the ame thing yesterday and did not advance. what am i missing (besides more victories)?

Lichess ratings are generally higher than chess.com ratings because on chess.com players start out at 400, 800 or 1200 whereas on lichess everyone starts off at 1500. So a 2000 lichess rating is about the same level as a 1700 chess.com rating.

I played very little live chess here for several months. It prevented my rating from going down but also prevented it from going up. Keep playing and focus more on making good moves than on whether you won or lost your last game.

I dont really know where to ask this, so I'm just gonna post this here and hope someone can help me. Some weeks ago I reached 1900 rapid here, but wasn't feeling so confident and decided to climb my rapid rating to 2000 on lichess, (dont really know if i can say this here) just to boost my ego, and so I did, but as I came back, I started loosing non stop, I took a little break, like 1 day but that didn't work and I'm getting beaten up by 1700s in a way I never would, I had this rating at around 1 year ago (before this account was made) and all of this is really concerning me. All that time I spent on lichess has really harmed my chess this much? What should I do to break free? Sorry for the long text.
