I quit chess, look at my elo. You will understand. I suck. Goodbye. Chess isn’t worth it.

In chess you have to keep trying

I think you haven’t looked at my elo. It is… nothing close to my hopes and dreams of becoming GM

Bro. I’ve heard so many people say that, and, to put it simply; that’s not true. You’re just tired of going back at it, time and time again, to no avail. Mind you, I play chess as a hobby, it isn’t my passion; but I can tell you that, (from experience), you just have to try again. Try HARDER. If chess was truly your passion, you wouldn’t quit. So get back up, and work at it. Be consistent, push yourself. You play chess because you enjoy it, not because you forced yourself to. If it does feel like you’re being forced into playing chess AFTER trying again, then you can quit. But I’m begging you, try again, and change your mindset; you’re not getting anywhere with your current one. It’s the truth.

Not to be rude or anything, but why post and make a big deal out of it? It’s just a game after all.

Bro has played 60 games and expects to be a GM. Do you know how much time GMs put into chess? Obviously not

Try Minecraft. It's more relaxing.

Sit, you are not an idiot. We were all at your point to start out. Some people just improve faster than others. You can improve at chess. Remember, it is a hobby, for fun, not a chore, focus on having fun and improving rather than rating. You can also improve by reading chess books, and looking at online lessons. Also chess youtubers can have some good videos for you.
