Tips:

Develop knights first.

If you're down on material, don't trade.

Don't trade active pieces for less active ones.

Manage your time.

Find out why you are losing.

EDIT: I just saw your rating. You're over 1600 in Rapid! You do not suck. You are among the top 10-15% in the world! Its just that the higher you get, the less your opponent blunders. Just keep pushing, and you'll reach 1700!

EDIT 2: If you feel like you've plateaued, I have a blog post on this.

Good luck in your expenditures!

This is great advice, especially for intermediate players, I just went over this lesson as I'm teaching my son how to play chess.

Ur better than me lol. To make you feel better, I was playing a 15+10 game 2day. +7 points of material. And then my internet basically said to me , "I HATE YOU" and decided to turn off. And guess what? I lost the game. Up 7 points of material.

Bro's internet:- Look how the tables have turned!

Play rapid games instead of blitz or bullet

I like that advice. The younger you are, the more likely you are to play short time controls-- because it's more exciting and/or requires less patience. That used to be called "speed chess" and no one took it seriously. No matter how skilled you are, you aren't playing your best game if you only have a few seconds per move.

The older I’ve become, the more bullet I’ve played - since I’m long retired from actual tournament chess.
If you want to improve, don’t do what I’m doing. Enjoy the game for what it is. 😀 Even rapid is often just 10 minutes which is not enough time to think.

I doubt anyone will see this comment, but the biggest piece of advice I can give is this.
Yes it is frustrating losing 4 games in a row, it will happen again, but don't let your ELO control who you are. You are not defined by that number. Keep at it, maybe take a break and learn a new opening and you will come back stronger.

Almost always, when I get a "Brilliant" move:

Wrong. You have low Elo you are lowly peasant.
