If You Could Fix One Thing On Chess.com, What Would It Be?

Would be good to know if my opponent has or is using premove, I play many games on an ipad or iphone which can't do premove and I have an equal endgame but more time than them so I try blitzing out my moves regardless if they are completely sound or not only to discover that my opponent is also blitzing out their moves way faster than me and I am the one that loses on time, if I knew beforehand that they had premove then I would have played differently.

If you are not playing for money wouldn't that be about as much fun as never losing at Tiddlywinks?

I luuuuvvv tiddlywinks.

The only way that you will play chess or Tiddlywinks is because there is a chance you are going to lose.

Interesting theory.

Yes but what is really interesting is why cheaters on chess.com use chess engines to get meaningless gratification.

Fortunately, there is no engine for tiddlywinks.Laughing

More games vs computer at lower ratings.  10/10 Trying to learn to play faster!

@kleelof   You're right, maybe you should pursue a career at it.

More realistic ratings for the Chess.com computer. Both the 800 and 1200 had massive blunders by move 4 yesterday. I consider myself around 900 and knew the games were completely handed to me.

I checked your games, they seem ok to me. Considering you have been on chess.com for only 5 days why don't you give the site chance.

Maybe BabasChess support in live chess.

^^ Other than me - I'm sure this has been asked for by someone in the past, correct?

I think this would not allow them to place ads in the games of non-premium members.

Moving their king to the center of the board as their opening is ok and reflective of an ~800 player?

I didn't see anything as stupid as that in your few games, post a link in my Notes Box okay.

re first issue raised by HessianWarrior: I've given up on the spell checker, I just use the 'Grammarly' plugin from the chrome store. Seems to work fine.

For you that is a wonderful fix, for me that's nothing more than mumbo jumbo. Clicking a provided icon for me is the solution.

You don't need to click on anything. It will automatically underline any mistakes you make and you just hover over them to correct.

I would fix it so that whenever I try to play a moronic move it beeps at me...

@ Glorfindel  That sounds good once it's set up. My problem is twofold; first I don't have a clue how to get from point A to point B, second I am on chess.com on fourteen different computers, two are at home and twelve are at the Public Library, and I am sure there is no way I could mess with those computers to install spell check for chess.com.

all you do is click install. Boom. done.

What about the 12 computers at the Library?
