I'd play the opening I know best, that way my free lesson is more useful to me.
Vienna. But only because I know it.
Or I might even have tried the King's Gambit – if I'm playing Carlsen, I'm going to lose anyway, so I might as well mix it up a little and go crazy.
I would play 1. d3 and if 1. ...e5 then 2. d4

It would make no difference lol. The King's gambit, though.
Truth, against any grandmaster I always play 1. e4. [with White]

London System trying to stay as solid as possible...
If you're rated anything below 2200 Carlsen seems to like obscure sidelines and crazy gambits.
