Greatest thread ever. I've read all 20 pages and am now done done with the endless cycle of birth and death ... Oooom pah pah Ooooom pah pah...

Lord-Chaos

I don't think kurog is winding us up, i think he is geniunely "stuck," although to be honest its perfectly reasonable to assume both, as we cannot tell at all.

essnov

I don't know. After reading the new set of questions/answers, looking at this thread started making me feel weepy. I was getting very emotional so I had to click the X in the top right corner of my browser for the sake of my psychological well-being.

I'm sorry kurogkug, but you will have to be re-assigned to a new instructor.

Godspeed, Borgqueen

Eebster

MOST SUCCESSFUL TROLL EVAR

I feel almost humbled.

But the thing is, BorgQueen is actually winning. For every riddle kurogkug has posed, Borg has found the solution. At every task, he has triumphed. Perplexed by his adversary's unprecedented stamina, kurog struggles on, his posts setting incomprehensibility records as his absurdity reaches new heights. But when that striving reaches its apex, at the crescendo of kurog's interminable trollery, will Borg's stream of magnanimous answers be staunched? Or will it yet flow through the perseverance of his steadfast assistance, the quintessence of the indomitable spirit.

Only time may tell.

bigpoison

Borgqueen should change his handle to Job...or, possibly, to "there's one born every minute."

Lord-Chaos

Eebster you refer to BorgQueen as he, but as Queen implies, isn't it a she? Just a minor GRAMMATICAL error perhaps. =)

Well, I've never heard of a woman called Brad... though I could be wrong of course...

I don't think Queen is a sexual reference, more the fact that it's the name of the leader of the Borg...

Yeah, just another Aussie shiela named Brad, roaming the Northern Territory mining camps in a bus load of party frocks.

taots_11

ohhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!! i know now what is the problem and im sorry borgqueen if i did not tell you in the first place that when i watch this movie i activate the caption of the movie and when i read the sentence i pause it so that i can read it 100 percent.so i am 100 percent sure that the sentence is this ''ITS OF STRATEGIC IMPORTANCE THAT WE CAPTURE THIS ISLAND.so if you agree with me this is my question to you ''do the word strategic in the sentence modify the word importance in the sentence or not?.i wait to your answer again borgqueen.

TheGrobe

I know what the problem is too.

BorgQueen, your patience is impressive.  That said, I think you'll find that a familiar paraphrase is relevant here:

"Persistence is futile."

goldendog

That was all very logical but like handing a "going to the bathroom" manual to a child.

Sometimes you just have to be prepared to hold their hand and get a little wet.

For some kids (ahem), that may be a fun game.

you will never find the answer you are looking for until you have improved your game sufficiently.

People who understand wont be able to communicate to you what they understand until you have matured in the element of planning in your game.

Best of luck!

Wow (somehow or other that picture reminds me of the Melies film Voyage to the Moon).

It must be the face on the sun. If I got my facts straight, the rocket sticks into the face on the moon when it lands.

Shouldn't he be named Bruce?

I'm assuming this film never made it the U.S., if you haven't seen it before, it's a hoot.

It does have a certain epic Mary-Worth-ness to it, doesn't it?

I dunno, just toasting in an epic bread.

@ kurogkug

It is strategically most important, and highly recommended that you play a FUN,  strategic chess game with BorgQueen.  He will kindly, and surely, guide you to all nuances of strategy.  Play...
