We have some pretty stiff competition from reddit though, in terms of extremely long or epic threads.

I have question of borg queen. If i am position, is it more strategic to be strategically positioning? or is that more tactical? or is it maybe 60%? If my opponent karmnik is tactically position and i am strategically position how many movings are there that make my strategy tactic? i waiting very interestingly on your response master borgqueen.

That was so funny, lol. Smile

You guys are all so cynical.  I personally find it delightful that two people could find such a connection in this hectic modern world of ours.  Even if one of those people probably wants to knife the other.

There will be no last post. Our childrens' children will gather here to read the wisdom (?) of their grandpappys.

goldendog

So, is it soup yet?

I am not borgqueen, but I can tell you that while one could say "strategic strategy," it would be redundant to do so, much like calling someone an "idiotic idiot."

The real question is when to employ the word "stratagem."

Cipherz

Real strategy is Leonard Nimoy kicking out the jams.

It's known as "tautology" - a repetition of the same idea in successive words.

How do you know they did it, compared to the poster deleting it him/herself? Just wondering.

goldendog

The deletion was mine.

I was trying to post w/ a pic to another topic and it was fouling up, and a few exuberant previous page clicks later and I ended up posting it in this topic accidentally.

No intrigue...this time.

kenneth67

It would be an idea for the system to identify the "deleter". Just a little tag or flag or something. Hello chess.com!!

Maybe that's how this thread ended up with 48 pages-- it might be the far end of the wormhole into which all lost posts fall.  Cool
