Eebster is correct. After all, death is a part of life.

... or resurrected... like this topic every so often!
Are you suggesting Jesus was merely bumped?

You seem to deny the right to death . . .
I'm saying that when a being, be it a human, cat, koala, tree, or, as here, a sprawling forum topic created and maintaind for reasons that are incomprehensible to all involved, when a being has the desire to live, then we should do all in our power to allow that wish*. If it dies anyway, then it will truly be a merciful act of nature.
*unless we plan on eating it.

@theoreticalboy:
Where do you find this thread claiming its "desire to live?" That theory sounds a little cliché anyways, does it not?
Someone has to tell you, so I will: death is cold to the living, but warm to the dead.

Well I'm glad you knew that someone had to tell him that, because I didn't know it was a requirement, and it would have been terrible if that had gone unsaid to him . . .

I know, my whole perspective on life and death has been irrevocably changed. Thank you, DukeofNature. And thank you, 'if you know'.

True peace in life begins at death. I won't debate about it, though. It's just my opinion. Think what you will, I won't lose sleep over it.

Much appreciated!
Much obliged.

There's some truth to that. I can't envision it being "warm" though. I'd prefer to remain part of the ferment as long as possible myself, as there will be plenty of time for peace later.

The goal of all life is death.
