Hello everyone. You know I'm planning to join FIDE during my chess journey. After so many years of chess I feel like I want to go ever further during my chess journey. What are your thoughts and opinions of me joining FIDE. I love to hear everyone's feedback. 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Basically all u have to do is play in otb events that are fide rated. U don't really have to "join". It automatically happens IF (a big if) u have a performance rating over 1400 in the fide rating system which is a bit lower than uscf.
And u have to play a minimum # of games for them to list u.
I think you have a little low rating for that. You should join USCF first.

Hello friend. My only advice is to look into other organizations. FIDE is a good one and ofc recognized by the chess world, but there are other legit and positives orgs.
I encourage anyone that is serious about the game to establish an OTBR. As I understand it, the ratings/game here is subjective.
Other than that...good luck!
I belive that only nations and national chess federations can be members of FIDE.
