Related to chess, and also not.

I was in 4 foreign countries. I played a small tournament in Japan, and I was also in Norway, Sweden and Finland.

Hey, you're in Western Sahara? I spent a week there. Boring as hell.

CapilanoBridger

To be honest, only 2.

CAN & USA. If you count states, then... :)

-waller-

The most foreign place I've ever played chess is ... York.

Havin said that, I've been lucky enough to go to the US, France and Switzerland on holiday, and also to France again and Germany on school trips. (You could count Belgium as our coach had to drive all the way through to get to Germany!)

Related to chess 0.

For non-related, I've lived in China for many years, and also been to Canada. And I've stayed in an airport in Japan for a few hours.

ninfan

For chess I haven't gone anywhere 'till today.

Now, apart from that, I've myself already been in the US, Canada and practically visited all South America.

I've lived in California or Washington all my life.  The only "foreign" country I've ever been in would be the former CSA...those people are pretty strange, all right. Surprised

Canada, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Puerto Rico (don't know if Puerto Rico counts...)
