Piecefodder, I'm a composer myself, so I appreciate the comparison. Do you write?
No, I'm afraid not. I play a few instruments to a reasonable amateur standard, and I write little bits of music, but serious composition is way beyond me. I have great respect for those who can do it. My compositions are about as accomplished as my chess games.
