Inconsistency in the titled player verification

In order to get a title next to your name and a lifetime diamond membership, you need to prove to them you have a title. One of the eligible titles is a WCM title, which I happen to have. But when I try to turn in my form, the title selector has no WCM selection under it. This seems to be inconsistent. Could someone care to explain?

How do you know it's eligible if it's not on the list?

/ The above is the only list I've ever seen in the last 10 years here.

That's interesting - can I ask where that screen shot is from? WCM is listed when searching for Titled Players, but that screen shot looks like it's from elsewhere.

Given that there are members who have the WCM title indicator on their account, it looks like Chess.com might actually be recognising this: I don't know what the official policy is, but it looks like they've been recognising it since at least 2015 - maybe they just haven't updated the FAQ? Just choose WFM in your application but let them know you have a WCM.

Apologies - I know where your screen shot came from, it's from the same place that I've always gone to check on which titles Chess.com recognises - I was referring to the screen shot in post #3.

Which I've now found on the right hand panel on the Titled Players page at https://www.chess.com/members/titled-players
