Is 1000 a good rating?

i have 1k rating here but i win against 1800 in real life tournaments what does this mean

IMO (you're speaking with someone who's a 1k rating) what's also important is to see where you rank against all players. Apparently I fit 85th percentile which means that on chess.com only 15% are better than me. On the streets where people don't play chess at all, a 1k rated player will tend to dominate 95% of everyone. Plus, it's a LOT harder to get a 900-1000 rating on chess.com, with more players, more tutorials, more videos, more books, etc.

hey, why does my chess.com account shows the dates i played games a date earlier? those dates are not correct. i played a game on october 16, but instead its showing that i played it on october 15. whats wrong with the dates?

yeah the average elo is 600 ish it on the rating thing I think u just have to look at ur full stats to show average elo

I hover around 1000 I don't consider myself a great player but I think 1000 rating is better than most that would play just for a casual bit of fun. I don't have any interest in studying the game but I do like playing it.. I like beating Americans the most , especially the woke liberals which I like to wind up. Hence my profile picture

Lichess is severely inflated, you've played a steady amount of rapid games on chess.com. 400 is your probable rating

Yes, 1000 is decent because I am 1100-1200 and my games are all about 80-90acc
