is anthology of chess combinations a good book?

i am thinking about buying the book anthology of chess combinations. if you have read the book do you reccomend it? was it helpful?

hehe, funny. yah, I read it. Nah, it wasn't very good. Have you tried any graphic novels? I prefer those.

it comes on cd now. though you can get it used in paper.  I assume you're talking about the informator book/cd. There's also a lower ranked smaller book called Encyclopedia of...by an Ivashchenko.

Yes it's very good I have the fourth edition by informant there's 3001 problems classified by more than ten themes honest it's a meaty book you could spend hours months days and still not reach the bottom of it.

Some of the problems are easy many are difficult and complicated if you want a book to keep you busy on cold winter nights this will do it.

Very good book for advanced players like me!Not very easy, but not hard too.

I purchased this book ten years ago and have much difficulty solving these "puzzles".  I would set the position up on a board and look at it the whole day.  I think it may help my calculation skills, but solving is still hit and miss.  Would you agree this book is for master level players?
