Is Chess.com Rigged to Keep You Stuck??

Hey guys,
So I was just thinking about something…
What if Chess.com has a secret system that keeps you at the same rating on purpose? Like, every time you win a bunch, it suddenly makes you lose a bunch too. It feels like when you’re doing good, the matches get way harder real fast. Then when you’re losing a lot, you start getting easy matches again. Weird right?
Maybe they do it to keep you on the app longer. Like, if you always feel “close” to getting better, you won’t quit. And if you’re on the app more, you’re more likely to buy stuff like memberships, lessons, and all that.
But like…Chess.com wouldn’t really do that, right?? That would be super sneaky.
Idk just something I noticed. Anyone else feel this too?

It's because after you win, you gain rating, and you get opponents based on your rating. So, when you win a bunch, then sometime you are probably going to lose. When you lose, your rating decreases, and because of that you get weaker opponents, and sometime you are going to win.

I was close to 500 in blitz and started losing almost every game. I just lost a game to a 310 rating that had 5 great moves and a rating of 1050. Makes no sense.
