So it's kind of like how money, neither good nor evil on its own merit, seems to take on the personality of those who possess/use it.

If you also have a real life, then it helps to exercise the mind. If you have nothing but chess, that in itself if insanity.

For anyone who thought: What? after reading my comment. The meditation exercise is only exploring your own perception of infinity. There is nothing physically measurable since it only takes in your mind. It seems I may have caused some confusion. My apology for that.
