Why should struggling in chess make chess bad? Every player must struggle and should if they wish to get better at chess. And chess doesn't make you smarter. It is simply not bad for your mental health/strength
Is Chess Good or Bad?

No, it is not bad.
Yes, there have been reports of downsides, but mostly, there have been more successful chess players than ones that struggle in chess.
I can prove that there is nothing bad about chess.
First of all, chess improves the minds of most people. Yeah, most. I don't want the negative people to say, "Oh yeah, there have been some people who don't improve their brain." Yeah, whatever. More people improve their minds than less people, so shut up, negative peeps. I'm pretty sure on the internet there will be tons of webs saying "This man got F's on the big tests, now he's A+." Well, they probably won't be saying that, but at least more webs will say that people have big improvements with grades and all.
Yes, that's it. Chess is good, and there aren't many bad results with people playing chess.

Answering your own questions. Good, we don't have to do anything...

It's basically like videogames (which isn't really a bad thing, unless you get completely sucked in), but you learn more, you can potentially use it if you are really good, and I guess it is just better. So yes, I think chess is good.
How does chess.com compare to decode chess ?
i can only afford one, i am rated near 1800 with my highest rating 1826

chess is bad because it is the most unrewarding game ever
i have at least 20 trophies in my trophy room and have earned plenty of money from chess tourneys

I used to hate Chess however after the pandemic strangely I love playing chess I feel like it improves my drinking skills.

I can see where this is going and I don’t likeit

"Why, then, 'tis none to you, for there is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so." ~ Lord Hamlet, Prince of Denmark

depends if you're winning or losing
If you don't enjoy the losses just as much as the wins, you're taking the wrong approach. Simply playing, learning, and improving has to be enjoyable in and of itself if you want to get legitimately better.
I understand what you're trying to say, but I don't think anyone enjoys losing in general
