The thing that's annoying me on YouTube is the 30-second videos that have nothing to do with chess, just something mildly amusing that happened.

Levy is fantastic. Not overrated at all. He knows where he is better than the populace, and acknowledges where he is weaker than super GMs. He is insightful and entertaining. There’s a reason he is the top chess channel on various platforms.
He has lots of fantastic content and it just keeps coming, thanks Levy. Good luck in your next OTB tournament.

To be fair, was he ever about education?
Ok, actually he has some good advice, but it's mostly about:
- He's young
- He's charasmatic
- He films with good lighting
- He has a video editor (I assume)
- He got subs via an established guy (Hikaru)
It was never about quality... most popular YouTube channels are about entertaining children, not quality.
Although as I said, a few of his educational ones are on point... it's just... you can't repeat the same few pieces of advice for 100s of videos, and you have to keep making videos so...

I actually kind of like the content and the helping others. Also only similarly related, but I've played 1...e5 against 1. e4 for years, but roughly two weeks ago changed repertoire to 1. e4 c6 Caro-Kann for black
