Is it possible to get worse at chess?

I've been losing games recently, and far too many of them. It's a miracle nowadays to get 2 wins in a row, and I usually get clapped by 80 percent of people I play. I also am the biggest choker and consistently lose games where I have a clear advantage. This doesn't happen usually, but I've been in a slump forever now, and its becoming hopeless for me, and I really want to continue, but idk if I can anymore. Hopefully someone can relate.

Well if you’re barely trying then you may tend to have results based on that level of effort. :)

Slumps happen. Consistent habits and study help pull us through. Look at your losses and try to understand the mistakes you’re making, look for trends.

It’s a common feeling. Your percentiles reveal you are better than most players on this site. Take a break. Then come back and fight some more. That’s the important thing. Every win can make you stronger. Every loss can make you stronger.
