Is it possible to learn to get better at chess with Stockfish?

I'm asking this question because I am a little nervous. I opened up my chess account this last Christmas and I wanted to learn how to play better. I usually only use the Reti Opening or the Sodium Attack. I didn't know where to look for theory, so I used Stockfish against the Christmas bots to see how to play the right following moves.  I haven't used Stockfish against any actual players, but I'm hoping that Chess.com won't ban me for trying to see what Stockfish considers the "right" moves. Is there any hope for me? Is there a more effective way of learning?

Oh, heck yea. You can set up endgame positions to play against Stockfish. I don't think it will help much to play it against the bots. You use a database to study openings.
