is it wrong to tell someone to resign when their down over 10 points?

The thing is rude by itself, however you deliver it.

No, don't do it. Just because a player is down a lot of material doesn't mean they can't win or don't have a winning position. They might've deliberately sacked those pieces to set up a win.

All you’ll achieve is them delaying their resignation even longer out of spite. Either way, some players never resign and it’s just one of those things you have to accept.

Of course it's wrong.

Doesn't matter if they're losing because they have a right to make you checkmate them, if they wish.

Yes. You have no business telling other players what to do. They can fight on to the bitter end if they please. There are no points in chess, only checkmate, and many games are won by the player with less material.

Yes, it is wrong regardless of the position. If you do it to me in an OTB tournament, I'll probably say "no talking," and if you do it again, I'll complain to the arbiter.
