Is Playing Chess a good profession ?

only a couple hundred GMs on earth.
And a small fraction of them can pay the rent with chess.
you have better chances with golf. tennis. American baseball. American football. Pop musician/singer. All of which are very poor professions with terrible chances of paying the rent.
Study math. Be an engineer. Great odds of success. And play chess for fun on weekends.

Call the equations "bums" when they don't add up. Harvard degree optional, but it'll make the chat spam "mocked" even harder. Pro tip: Skip the shower for that authentic "genius eccentric" vibe—nothing says success like smelling like victory (and yesterday's chicken). Who's in for the collab?

Why will be they less than other professionals ?
Every good hobbys or sport that can be a good profession, just how you can make that happen.
