if you take full advantage of the subscription it's well worth it. If you just play chess here then hell no. Up to you. As someone said above, it's worth it just for Rensch's videos.

They are good.

$8 or $9 a month for the subscription is a bargain to me when I consider the trash I have spent that much on in other way more stupid ways. I like to encourage a site that seems to get better and better. Bottom line... works just fine for me.

Once Lichess gets 3d board in their phone version I'll have no need to play here
Lichess got unlimited puzzles no adds and very smooth for bullet and blitz and very good cheat detective system
Only thing chess.com got is popalarity
But lichess is definitely getting more well known
And very easy to find game
Plus it supports many variety of chess
But def not knocking chess.com I have tried some of their lessons they were definitely very well put together

I have nothing to complain about because I'm not a subscriber! I'm expressing my opinion on what I think about the rip-off prices they request, nothing more nothing less and who are you to get on your high horse about forum politics? Get a grip, seriously.
