Is this a forced checkmate?

My friends were playing this game and I think I saw a forced checkmate but a lot of the times I think I see one and I end up missing something.

There are a lot of other moves I see black can do but I believe they all lead to a forced checkmate. Is there anything that black can do that I missed?

what happends when you block the check with the bishop?

in your very first diagram black can play 3...Bb1. no checkmate then.

but white could have easily played 2. Qxg1 Qxg1 3. Bf4 which leads to mate.
