Is using "Analysis Board" during Daily Games actually cheating? 🤔
That's an interesting point of view! You're right, it's virtually impossible to 'catch' someone using a physical board or the analysis tool.
However, I'm more interested in the learning process. Do you think relying on the analysis board stunts your tactical growth in the long run? I've been reflecting a lot on this 'mental battle' in my latest blog post—I feel like using too many 'crutches' makes us weaker when we play Blitz or Rapid.
Do you personally use it to explore lines, or do you prefer to trust your vision even in Daily games?
Thanks for pointing that out, bro! You're 100% right, it's a legal feature and I'm aware of that.
My doubt is more about the 'spirit' of the game. Even if it's built-in, don't you feel that using it too much makes our actual calculation skills a bit lazy? I’m trying to reach 1500 Elo (as I wrote in my blog) and I wonder if I should stop using it to train my brain for live games.
Do you think it’s better to use every tool available to find the perfect move, or is it better to 'suffer' and calculate everything in your head?

Hi everyone! ♞
I was thinking about Daily Chess. You are allowed to use the analysis board (without engine), but isn't that 'cheating' against your own intuition?
Some say it's the only way to learn, others say it's a legal way to compensate for lack of calculation skills.
What do you think? Should Daily Chess be 'blind' like Blitz, or is the analysis board what makes it beautiful? Let's hear your thoughts!
