Google also released videos about Gmail Blue and Google Nose. Obviously none of those are real (although i want Google Nose to exist)
They are working on Google Glasses, though. I remember reading on a tech site, but I can't remember which one.

Let me see ... Youtube is very very successful ... then on April the 1st we have a strange rumour ... ( April Fool's joke, Hmmmm ? ).

yeah, they actually are. It is actually really cool!
What are the odds, though, that a multimillion site would shut down for no apparent reason other than to watch millions of hours of videos in ten years and pick one out? How can they even compare some of them (music videos to practical jokes, to 9-year-olds doing lego stop-motion animation)?
There's no money in shutting down.
