It looks like women chess players are pretty bad after all

I thought that Hou Yifan was on a roll, and would show the world that a woman chess player can beat out the top men. 

But it all changed today, when she lost against MVL in the Grenke Chess Classic. She's dropped back now, and it's clear that men are the true chess players of the world. 

In fact, she played so badly that she missed the draw that I even spotted. I was rooting for her to find the right move, but she blundered, showing the true quality of the top woman chess player in the world. 

Never has a woman managed to defeat the top male chess players, and it looks like this is no accident.

What are your thoughts on the fall of woman compared to man again? 

I don't like writing this post, but I forgot one of two trolls that I had to honor: ESP.

I would start a discussion, but don't want the moderator to give me 101 lesson. Most importantly, it's not worth it.

OT: I don't think we should be comparing who is better than who until they play a set match. I mean her one loss doesn't matter just like her draw against Magnus. Didn't Magnus blunder against Nakamura and gave him his first classical win. LOL

It would be interesting if Hou Yifan faced the Top 50 players in a set match. Would be lucky if she can win 1 match. She is talented though, no doubt.

 It's not over yet....and I must admit that I respect her for dropping out of the women's league and giving it a go with the men...she is still young and her rating is going up....so anything can happen in the future.....I acn tell most of the guys that commented here are still young....if you are not gay and want women to like you you have to treat them with dignity and respect...
