In my "Kids, don't try this at home!" game I followed the book line for 27 moves before playing my prepared improvement on move 28.

nope

e4 e6 d4 and if d5 is played its not a transposition

b6 is a transposition

I said transpositions and OPENING SWITCHES, not just transpositions.

but something like qxh7 isnt a transposition

also not even an opening switch debatably
