Sounds like a wiki quickie.

What does? I got it also from

After all, Math is my chosen field. Lasker interested me because he played chess and studied math. That little tidbit about Hilbert has been in my head for years.

Scott/ Janis, Eddie/ Manny.... let's call the whole thing off.

I guess I shouldn't be so annoyed. I guess it's only not funny because I don't understand the humor. I am very far removed from that time. Kids like me have no place for patience!

More importantly, who's this Lasker person?

First you hook them.

Then you play with them to tire them out.

Then you reel them in and cook them for dinner.

Okay, I'm really not following one bit. I think I missed a step?

Batgirl knows quite well who the Lasker's were.  She is a quite knowledgable author on subjects related to chess history. She was toying with the poster, like a good fisherwoman toys with her catch before landing it.

Would that be a game of Bat and mouse? (btw, I'm not a forum groupie. Forum junkie, maybe yes. Groupie, definitely not. Although groupie is a type of fish too. But not a fish who types.)

Groupers don't type? Which fish do?
