I was doing good at a branch of mathematics that deals with the formal properties of sets as units (without regard to the nature of their individual constituents) and the expression of other branches of mathematics in terms of sets. Too complicated? Pure mathematics.

Have you people already thought of Schrödinger's chess?  Either the king is mated or not, or both, or it's a draw.  Just put Komodo vs Stockfish in two computers and turn the screens off.
