Keep studying during school?

Hi chess.com!

So, (at least for me) school will start up again on Sep. 8th... I, like most school-age people, am not welcoming this fact with open arms :( anyways, besides being bombarded with homework, soccer practice, studying, etc. I can't seem to fit chess into my time!!! Can I have a few suggestions on how to not lose chess sense because of school... (being a student, $100 for a diamond membership isn't exactly easy to find) I have Chessmaster GM edition if that's going to be useful. Thx heaps!

Pull a Bobby Fischer and study during school?

In all seriousness, though, if you study for maybe 10-20 minutes a day, you should still improve, if slowly... I would suggest, if you have the time, you join your school's chess club. (Assuming it has one.)

If you are already USCF 2000+ or regularly defeat titled players, you will want to run away and ask Andrew Martin to adopt you and teach you the ways of the Force. Then support yourself by winning European tournaments.

If you don't feel that this is for you, then don't worry so much about studying or chess sense. It should be fun, not a job, unless of course it is your job (see above). School is more important (ironic, because I should be studying calculus right now...)
