Is Keres Defence a sound system against d4?

Never heard of it.

Apparently it's 1...e6 and 2...Bb4+ against d4 c4.

It will probably transpose to a nimzo or bogo, or even a queen's gambit declined.

To play it you'd probably have to be at least a little familiar with all of those.
