King, knight and pawn against king-in what circumstances can the lone king draw?

Last night I lost a game involving a king, knight and rook's pawn against king endgame, having lost the 2 isolated pawns I had. In what circumstances is a king, knight and rook's pawn vs. king endgame drawn?

By comparison, the only king, bishop and pawn endgame that is drawn for the lone king is the famous "wrong colour bishop and rook's pawn ending" where the lone king reaches the corner and stays there.

I'm not an expert, but I think there are few situations where this would be possible. The only ones I can think of is if king gets stuck in the corner and the knight can't check it or the king can capture the pawn.
