King’s Gambit

It's more blessed to give than to receive.

lol Spassky has a tremendous record I believe with Kings Gambit.

Spassky beat young GM Bobby Fischer with it.  I've played it twice with White last year for the first times ever just for the thrill of it and won both games.

I'm not an experienced chess player, but I actually play The King's Gambit frequently. It's one of my favorite openings. In my opinion, yes, you lose a pawn, however, it can be an advantage if you play the Gambit right. I've played many King's Gambit accepted games, sometimes I win, sometimes I lose. What I do is a King's Knight Gambit, to prevent the Queen from checking the King immediately.
