Leaving games without resigning or offering a draw

It is truly frustrating to wait and wait and wait when playing a game. I appreciate that we all need thinking time but to leave your opponent hanging is disrespectful and poor sportsmanship. There is a chat available to let your opponent know you are still actively engaged in the play.  PLEASE have the simple courtesy to let  your playing partner know you are still engaged.  Enough of this leaving others hanging.  Thank you.

I hundred percent agree with you, some people are just purely blind. Like what others said, just be patient with these people. I understand poor sportsmanship is very irritating!!! It happens to me too!
