Basketball players don't know how to play chess, just hoops..
There was a story in Chess Life a number of years ago about celebrities and athletes who play chess. Bill Walton was Class B strength, and I think he was the strongest of the living atletes/celebs they discussed.

These statements are akin to racial profiling. What does being able to play basketball have to do with the ability to play chess? Answer-nothing. None of you know anything about the guy- other than he makes about $1 million more per month more than anyone on this site.

You mean Kobe Bryant: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q2J2tMsVtn0
At 1:50-1:59, Kobe and Lebron are playing a game, Kobe is Black, Lebron is White, and at 1:59, it shows the White king falling. I think we have a clear winner. : )
LAKERS FOREVER!!! hahaha

Everyone knows pancakes are better than waffles. Waffles are a fun food - I'll give you that, but pancakes are still better.
Oh wrong thread...

No NM tonydal, you are wrong again...I am just expressing my opinion, just like you did...or maybe I am not allowed to, because I don't share your's?
Do you think this special athlete know how to play chess.
