The Scotch Gambit is another line I havent tried yet. It looks really interesting. Curious, is there actually any way for black to keep the pawn without making serious weaknesses?

Looking through some variations I think I've been guided to a reason to keep playing the Scotch. Thanks for bringing that to my attention!
Here is a game that demonstrates some reason that I will play it. Mainly because Naka used it this year and won which makes me gather that it is a good try at least.

Hi when you get back, I'd like this game analyzed. It was an OTB game versus a 1700. I've already annotated it myself so perhaps you could put your annotations in brackets or parenthesis?
