Life of a Transexual Chess Player Pt. II: Competition

I would like to talk a bit more about my personal experience.

As a transexual chess player I ofter encounter one of those good ole boys. I can see his face when he sees he's about to play me. His eyebrows raise for a second. Shock is his first reaction. Then smug self-assurance. He doesn't think I have a chance against him for a second. I inwardly groan every time.

What a ridiculous assumption to make about one's opponent? Intelligence doesn't depend on which genitals I chose to wear.

But still, I feel like I'm representing the Transexual community while I play. What if I lose? Will one of those meanie like Nigel Short hear about my defeat and then claim that transexual people can't play? So much rests on my shoulders.

I asked a few female chess players how they cope with it.

They all said that yes, their (male) opponents tend to have a smirk on their face while they play, like they are superior. Hower, the female chess players I spoke to also said that men often want to impress them with some cavalier attitude, no doubt in the hopes of getting some sex later. They tend to just not play so aggressively, like to prolong the game. I think that's because they want to spend more time with the female chess player.

One of them even said that she got offered a draw after the opponent had K+Q+Q+N vs her lone king. Maybe he thought it would have been too brutal for a girl to witness the vicious hunt of her cute last piece (she also said she put a ribbon on her king to make it prettier).

Another guy resigned when he was UP a rook and then during the post-mortem gave my female chess player his phone number.

Anyway, all these female chess players suggested to just smile, flirt a bit, and show some cleavage.

Hower while I'm officially a female and I've always felt this way, I still have a beard, beer gut, and no boobs. So I have no chance to get the advantages of the female chess players, but I have all the disadvantages!

However, I don't give up. I remember that I am me, and I have a right to be here.

Lol being a trans does not mean you are a women. You can say people give you strange looks and stuff but is that not what happens when you decide to do something like that. I don't dislike you as a person I just think you have made a poor choice. The problem with this society is we renforce poor choices. I think your always be a man no matter what you do I don't know what drove you to think you could become a women but saying this is what I am accept me is stupid no one has to except you and the same with me and every one else in the world. I know I am probably going to get yelled at for being a hater and such an asshole well too bad bring stupid stuff up and try to force every one to argee with you that happens. If every one goes insane I am fine with being that one guy being mocked at.
